Luciana Faria is a Brazilian visual artist and architect born in 1961. She studied Baroque, Renaissance and Contemporary Art History at the Politecnico di Milano, Italy.
Her creative process blends painting and hand embroidery. Acrylic, watercolour, oil, threads and stitches give shape to endless imaginary landscapes on canvas. Her creations are inspired by the overwhelming power of the forces of nature and the passage of time.
